Public Lecture: "Feasting on Donkey Skin" by Dr. Natalie Köhle (04.12.2018)

It is our pleasure to invite Dr. Natalie Köhle, postdoctoral research fellow at the Australian Center on China in the world (CIW), ANU, to give a lecture about "Feasting on donkey skin" which is on a highly topical phenomenon of Asian world.



Feasting on Donkey Skin
The skin of a donkey can be called gelatine or donkey skin glue (ejiao 阿膠), which has been around for over 1500 years history.  It has unique medical value and as a tonic for blood . It can be prescribed as a strengthening of the life force especially for the weakness patients, and also as a preventive of health care food.
